Nothing and Everything.

Shua shua biff boom bang.

Know what I'm doing now?
Nothing.
Know what I'm doing now?
Still nothing.
Know what I'm doing NOW?
Right-o. Nothing.

God, being with the SDU all these days, I'd forgotten what that's like. And how mind numbingly, excruciatingly boring it is to sit around twiddling your thumbs all day long with abso-freaking-lutely nothing to do.
Bah.
Yeah, yeah, the computer and the television and all of that are simply fascinating inventions but there's only so many sitcoms you can watch without teenage drabble, leaking out of your ears.
The OC.
Really? I mean, really?! Are they serious when they call this the best show on television? What's so great about boys who look permanently startled and slutty girls in very glamorous attire trying to deal with entirely unrealistic situations?
But hey. Maybe it's just me.
Wimbledon's been on, however, which is good. Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are battling it out for the 2007 Championships even as I speak. Er, type. Whatever. Kill 'em, Fed!

For those of you who are staring around without a clue in the world, as to why I've been sitting at home without any apparent reason - allow me.
Somewhere in between Paris Hilton being let out of jail and Enrique Iglesias cutting a new album - both of which left me (like they would any sane person) speechless with horror, of course - I got sick. And not sick in a Noone-likes-me-so-I-have-to-act-like-a-needy-moron-to-create-tension or A-monkey-bit-me way. Just a regular doze of influenza. Which, may I point out, can leave one surprisingly debilitated. Which translates to lying around in bed for the better part of 3 days with, like I said, nothing to do.
It doesn't feel as good as it sounds, for all those of you trying to belt me with those fat textbooks.

Life would be so much easier if it were like a superhero novel. Yes, that is absurdly random. But it would be so much less complicated, don't cha think?

Gifted, shy child loses parents at young age. Becomes class nerd and the object of ridicule for many years to come. A lifechanging event takes place (This may include nuclear explosion, an insect bite or just turning out to be from another planet). People fight. Nerd gets super powers. Nerd is cool. Lady love takes notice of newly cool nerd. People fight. Nerd's mentor becomes super baddie. People fight. Nerd saves city by some stroke of bizarre luck. Nerd kills baddie. Nerd sweeps lady love off her feet and reveals his identity.

And they all live happily ever after.

That is, until a sequel is made and then more people fight and more outlandish characters are introduced into the mixture.

And again, they live happily ever after.

Then again. Maybe it's just me.

I've heard the new album by Maroon 5, for anyone who's interested. I was quite a major fan of their's and personally, "It won't be soon before long" leaves much to be desired. I loved that whole RnB-Rock sound that they had going on in "Songs about Jane" and they seem to have given much of it up in this new release. 'Makes me wonder', is one of the better songs and sticks to their original genre which made stuff like 'This Love', 'Harder to breathe' and 'Shiver' so popular. Some of the other notable songs, at least for me, were 'Little of your time' and 'If I never see your face again.' 'Goodnight goodnight' is okay too.

But the album's doing quite well, I hear.
So yet again - maybe it's just me.

The next few weeks, starting tomorrow promise to be quite busy what with Malhar preparations in full swing and the release of Harry Potter 7 which of course I am very, VERY excited about. Like Daffy Duck on crack excited. Like Bambi on grass excited. Like-
*ahem*
You get the picture, right?

Point being - lots of cool, fun things are happening in my cool, fun, fulfilling life - stop sniggering! - so I probably won't have much time to write here. For the sparse few who even read it.

Anyway, best be off to live out my happy ending.
Au revoir until next time.

Stay loose, chumps.
